Visit Fort Augustus
Loch Ness, which has the largest volume of fresh water in Great Britain, runs from the south of Inverness down to the pretty village of Fort Augustus. St. Benedict’s Abbey, with its beautifully converted apartments, lies on the southern shore of this stunning loch.
Boat trips from the nearby landing stage are a popular way of exploring the area and appreciating the amazing scenery of the Highlands.
With only a few minutes walk into the village, the Abbey is perfectly located for easy access to shops, pubs and eateries.
